Auzzie mayhem 2!!
Saturday 27th march

2 – 5pm at Burntwood youth centre back of the leisure centre next to SkatePark

Age 11 to 17 years (Go to school or live in Burntwood)

Funded by Community and learning partnership the auzzie celebration marks the 3rd successful
year of init, engaging yps of Burntwood in positive activities.


 

8 young people age 14 to 17 have been organising the 2nd event (1st one at redwood 160 attended)

  • Dance work shops by Dynamix dance group
  • Didgeridoo work shop
  • 6meter climbing wall
  • Surf simulator Stay on the longest and you win cinema tickets
  • Are you brave?  Are you daring? Test your endurance, with our bush tucker trial, fail and you go in the gung tank!!!
  • Make a aborigine mask, face painting, hair braiding, design your own boomerang
  • Learn the history and meaning of aborigine theme tattoos
  • Test how long can you stay on the wild bucking sheep!!!  Stay on the longest and you win cinema tickets
  • Gladiators jousting competition
  • Dress up in crazy auzzie costumes and have your photo taken
  • Pig roast and barbecue
  • Auzzie non alcoholic cocktail bar
